PC-TAG Honors Paul Newhouse as its Teacher of the Year

PC-TAG is pleased to recognize MIS TAG Teacher Paul Newhouse as its 2019-20 Teacher of the Year.
 
Newhouse was nominated by parents and students for his passion in teaching science. He is honored for his ability to ignite in his students a true interest in science, his innovation in the classroom with creative and engaging projects, and his tireless enthusiasm that makes learning fun, exciting, and seemingly effortless.
 
As one student put it best, "He influenced my love for science along with hundreds of other students."
 
When he is not teaching science, he's living it. Be it raising poisonous dart frogs or maintaining his own terrarium and vivarium, Newhouse loves spending his free time following his passion. He is in his 11th year at Highland Park ISD, and his 27th year as an educator. PC-TAG is grateful for the lifelong impact he has on his students.
