Parents of students had the opportunity to attend a Parent Welcome Coffee event hosted by PC-TAG. The event, held on September 15th at the Clements Leadership Center, was an opportunity for parents to connect with each other and learn more about the PC-TAG program. The welcome coffee featured an informative session conducted by HPISD TAG Coordinator, Ericca Vandagriff and Amy Wood, HPISD Interim Executive Director of Curriculum Instruction and Professional Learning. During the session, parents were given an overview of the PC-TAG program and its goals for the 2022-23 school year. In addition to the information session, parents were able to meet other PC-TAG members and ask questions about the program. The event provided a great opportunity for parents to connect with each other and learn more about the resources available to them through PC-TAG. Overall, the Parent Welcome Coffee was a great success, with parents leaving feeling informed and excited about the upcoming school year. The PC-TAG 2022-23 Year at a Glance was a helpful tool for parents to better understand the program's initiatives and plan for upcoming events. It was a fantastic start to what promises to be a great year for PC-TAG and the HPISD community.
