Battling Depression in High Achieving Perfectionists

On February 18, Dr. Candice Conner gave an excellent presentation to over 120 people (the largest turnout ever).  She talked about Battling Depression in High Achieving Perfectionists. 

Dr. Conner is currently in her 6th year as the Personal Counselor at Highland Park High School.  She has extensive expreience helping individuals discover their strengths, reach their goals, and achieve balanced mental health.  She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and completed her internship and residency at the Fifth Avenue Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy in New York City.

Dr. Conner's theoretical orientation centers around Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Solution Focused therapies.  A large portion of her clinical work has been in the area of substance abuse intervention and recovery work (with both the person with the addiction and family members of those with addictions.)
